Cécile Buckenmeyer
Senior Consultant  - France and United Kingdom

Cécile Buckenmeyer holds a Grande Ecole degree from Tours Graduate School of Management and an MSc in the Psychodynamics of Human Development from Birkbeck College, University of London. She also studied in the Department of Comparative Culture at Sophia University, Tokyo and is currently completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Executive Coaching, from the University of Chester.

Born and raised in France, she is fluent in French, English and Japanese, having spent five years living in Japan and the past six years in the UK.

For seven years she worked with a leading Japanese recruitment company which is partly owned by the Nikkei group. She has organised recruitment events for numerous Japanese multinationals and Western companies based in Japan, advising their HR departments on recruiting graduates from Japanese and European universities. As head of European operations, she offered career workshops on university campuses across Europe and helped Japanese graduates to find international opportunities.

Most recently she was a manager at Manchester Business School, developing coaching and career services for MBA students and alumni of more than 30 nationalities.
