Cynthia A. Kaplan

Cynthia Kaplan has over 20 years of international experience in coaching, consulting, marketing, business development and executive recruiting. Her industry experience has included over 9 years in international business intelligence and risk consulting with the two leading companies, Kroll and Control Risks Group, where she developed business in the Latin American region. She also spent almost two and a half years working in Japan for SunStar Engineering Group, a supplier to the automotive industry, conducting market research in the area of business and competitive intelligence.
In February 2001, Cynthia relocated to Mexico City, where she has been active as a professional coach and consultant. Cynthia received her coaching certification through Coach Training Alliance (CTA), and is a founding member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) of Mexico as well as a founder of RIMEL, an executive women’s executive and leadership networking group. She is also a member and active in the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, the American Society and the Newcomer’s Organization in Mexico City.
Cynthia holds a Masters of Science in International Management (MSIM) from the Arthur D. Little School of Management in Cambridge, Massachusetts (now known as Hult International), where she graduated with honors. She received a B.S in Administration from the University of New Hampshire’s Whittemore School of Business and also majored in Spanish, studying a year abroad in Valencia, Spain and participating in a post-graduate AIESEC internship in Helsinki, Finland.
A native of Boston, Cynthia is fluent in Spanish, and has a basic conversational level of Japanese.
