Patricia L. Roh

Patricia L. Roh is a U.S. attorney with a broad breadth of professional and
business experiences involving the U.S. and Korea. Ms. Roh practiced commercial
litigation and other civil litigation matters in Chicago, Illinois. Prior to
her legal career, Ms. Roh was a Global Marketing Associate at Samsung
Electronics Corporation in Korea where she worked in designing marketing
roadmaps for emerging markets. In connection with the global marketing
initiatives, she planned and facilitated business conferences for multinational
associates at Samsung’s regional global offices. Ms. Roh also worked in
Samsung’s U.S. headquarters in New Jersey, where she was a Marketing
Coordinator for Information Systems Products and coordinated communications
between corporate headquarters in Korea and the U.S. subsidiary. Additionally,
Ms. Roh worked at a research institute in Seoul where she assisted a former
Korean Minister of Finance in international public relations.
Throughout her career, Ms. Roh has worked and interacted with attorneys, U.S.
judges, government officials, business leaders, scholars and expatriates from
different parts of the world. Ms. Roh has first-hand experience working with
multinational staff to implement a globalization initiative. Similarly, she has
worked in homogeneous environments on efforts to promote multicultural business
practices. Born in the U.S., Ms. Roh has lived in various parts of the US and
also attended an international school in Korea. Ms. Roh holds B.A. in History
and Political Science from Wheaton College, Illinois, an M.A. in International
Relations from the University of Chicago, and a J.D. from the University of
Wisconsin School of Law. She is fluent in English and Korean.
