Yukako Yamamoto Seltzer

A native of Japan, Yukako Yamamoto Seltzer has lived in the United States for over 20 years. She holds a BS in Management from the University of Massachusetts. Her early career experience was working for Coca-Cola Japan and the Tokyo Branch of Bank of America. She also was involved in finance, IT, and project management with Cambridge Associates, NEC America, and GlobaLink. Most recently, she has been active as a translator between Japanese and English. Through this varied work experience, she has gained an in-depth understanding of American business practices and how they differ from those that are typical in Japan. She draws on these experiences to illustrate important cultural differences in our seminars. Her work with Japan Intercultural Consulting has focused particularly on clients in the automotive and electronics industries.
