FEEDBACK AND PERFORMANCE EVALUATION SEMINAR FOR JAPANESE
Apr 06, 2010
9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Mariott Residence Inn
Los Altos, CA
United States
Performance evaluation and feedback are two of the most important items in an American manager’s toolkit. Yet in Japan, these skills have not traditionally been emphasized. Japanese who are in management positions in the U.S. can greatly benefit from strengthening their skills in these areas.
This session uses practice exercises and role playing to help participants increase their confidence giving substantive feedback to subordinates and conducting performance evaluations. Techniques for giving negative feedback in an appropriate manner are particularly emphasized.
The session also covers key information about American culture that Japanese managers need to know in order to develop good working relationships with their subordinates. A must for all your Japanese managers! Perfect timing for year-end evaluation season.
Taught by Rochelle Kopp, the seminar will be completely in Japanese and will include lunch.
