JAPAN INTERCULTURAL CONSULTING LAUNCHES INTERCULTURAL COACHING SERVICES IN EUROPEMay 03, 2007Japan Intercultural Consulting, an international training and consulting firm, announced today they are now offering intercultural coaching in the UK. For many years, Japan Intercultural Consulting has offered cross-cultural training to executives who face challenging situations such as expatriation or managing multicultural teams. The coaching service effectively complements the training by focusing on individual needs of the executives.
Knowledge about culture is not enough to bridge cultural gaps. Executives who work in multicultural environments have to constantly develop self-awareness and manage their emotions. Frustration caused by cultural differences may lead to a breakdown of relationships with colleagues and poor business performance, but coaching can effectively help executives to avoid these cross-cultural pitfalls.
