Multicultural team building
Our team development workshop is designed to aid multi-cultural management teams to improve communication, build trust and better working relationships, increase motivation and achieve better business results.
Participants should come out of the workshop with an enhanced appreciation for the diversity of personality types and cultures that exist on the team as well as a renewed alignment around key team objectives.
Our team coaches have been selected for their track record of successfully coaching senior individuals and teams, their extensive work experience in Japan and their advanced Japanese language capability. Each workshop is tailored to the needs of the organisation:
- We conduct a pre-workshop diagnostic based on interviews and occasionally on team observation and/or on questionnaire-based assessment.
- We work with team members to ensure that their team’s attitudes are aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives.
- We explore interpersonal and team dynamics in order to enable the team to become 'more than the sum of its parts'.
- We use well-established assessment tools such as MBTI and 360 degree feedback for illuminating individual differences in working styles and surfacing potential issues holding back team performance. Both can be administered in Japanese.
A typical workshop runs for 2 days with two coaches. It can be offered as a stand-alone project or in conjunction with one-to-one coaching.
